LRU 383: Exploring Race in America

This LibGuide was created to provide access to course content and pertinent resources  for use in LRU 383. The left navigation page includes links to information about the course. The Course Content Tab provides links to the course lectures and other content.  The Resources for Students tab provides links to those databases available to LRU students only.  Resources for Community Students provides links to resources available to everyone.

This is a 14 week course, available for three course credits to currently enrolled Lenoir-Rhyne students and as a free, not-for-credit class to the general public, Lenoir-Rhyne graduate students, alumni, faculty and staff. Using a multidisciplinary approach, this class explores the complex issues of race and racism at both individual and systemic levels. The course is taught by 14 faculty members, each exploring race through a different disciplinary lens every week.
