There are so many ways that the Rudisill Library can help you in your courses here at LRU including:

  • 24/7 Chat: Connect with a librarian at any time for help finding the perfect resources for your assignments, finding out library hours, or help accessing our databases. Just click the "Chat Now" button at the top of the library website.
  • One-on-One Reference Sessions: Meet with any one of our helpful and knowledgeable librarians to find articles, books, and other resources for your assignment as well as help structuring your research question. Just click here to schedule a reference consultation with Dawn Behrend. Sessions are available in-person and by Zoom.
  • Databases: We provide access to over 170 electronic resources full of scholarly journals, eBooks, newspaper articles, and more! Many are full-text and all provide citations. Click here to explore the options.
  • Best Sellers: Have some time to enjoy a good book? You will find many of the newest bestsellers ready to be checked out on the main floor of the library.
  • Chromebooks: Need a device? Chromebooks area available for check out from the service desk.
  • Computers and Printers: We have many desktop computers on the main floor as well as printers on the main and second floor.
  • Interlibrary Loan: Need an article or book that the library does not own? We can get this for you quickly through interlibrary loan. Just click here.
  • White Board and Markers: There are whiteboards available in areas of the library and dry erase makers can be checked out from the service desk.
  • Fun Events: Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to find out about fun activities happening all year such as National Hispanic Heritage Month, Banned Books Week, National Library Week, and holiday crafts and treats
